Masterplanning and landscape design of a 300 unit Crest Nicholson development close to the town centre. The creation of a robust landscape framework ensures the setting is appropriate to the semi- rural nature of the area.  SUDs features are integrated in the form of balancing ponds and streams which also act as an amenity feature as well as habitats for wildlife. Carried out within JFA.

ATHLONE HOUSE, HAMPSTEAD.

BJC VBJKDZVFBJLDSV/

Natasha led the landscape design for this historic house which overlooks Hampstead Heath whilst at JFA. The proposals involved the design of several landscape features such as an entrance forecourt, terrace, potage and lily pond as well of restoration of the existing par terre, fruit terrace and woodland gardens.  The garden design was highly praised by the London borough of Camden and as such contributed to a successful planning application.

PRIVATE GARDEN, DUBAI, UAE.

The garden forms an important entry area to a newly built villa for a private client in Dubai.  Water features create a sense of tranquility and playfulness with the use of dancing fountains. A reflective pool surrounding the outdoor library gives the impression of building which floats on water. Lush green planting in combination with smooth, light grey granite paving create a refreshing and striking environment.  The use of tensile shade structures create comfortable places to sit whilst also creating a nautical theme.

THE BROW, BURGESS HILL

Whilst working at JFA Natasha was approached by McCarthy and Stone to put forward ideas for a retirement village. Concept proposals were presented which included the creation of themed gardens designed to stimulate the senses and allow residents to interact with planting and other landscape elements.  Raised planters were proposed in order to encourage the growing of vegetables and herbs.

ORCHARD LEA, OXTED, SURREY

Planting proposals for a new modernist house designed by Jane Duncan Associates create a mature landscape which blends the proposals in to the existing landscape. Mature holly trees line the driveway and act to screen the new home from neighbouring houses as well as provide habitats for birds.Mature standard Photinia's add colour closer to the main entrance of the house. The landscape design was key in ensuring a successful planning application. The house and gardens are currently under construction.

MANOR FIELDS, PUTNEY, LONDON

Appointed by the  Manor Fields Estate to put forward planting proposals and a lighting design within the grounds of the Art and Crafts style estate. Key objectives were to provide a landscape buffer between the estate and surrounding developments within a restricted area.Technical expertise in relation to tree planting was necessary to ensure successful planting. The lighting design has been implemented and is designed to provide safety whilst at the same time be sensitive to wildlife corridors.
